David brings his soulful sound as singer/songwriter, writing and singing with compassion and conviction connecting with audiences on and off stage, solo or with his band, spanning the Folk, Indie and Americana genres with soul-filled melodies and bars of truth.

A cold night came to a close in grand fashion at the Post at River East in Fort Worth Tx.  The night began with a chilly but much enjoyed set by local musician Jacob Furr in the courtyard.  I sat listening enjoying a Pastrami & Swiss along with Pat, who just drove up from Austin Tx.  Soon after we moved inside to the Trinity room.  

Texas singer-songwriter David Tribble’s new album, Golden Junk, is full of honest, beautiful, songs that draw you in and have you listening to them again and again

Tribble describes the songs on this album—his third—as “songs that need to be heard.”

We agree. They also show his range, as he easily flows from a soulful ballad into a rocking bluesy number and then into a softer, gospel-tinged R&B sound, and then a bit funkadelic. And it all works.
